OUR MISSION
Get America Working! is a non-partisan 501[c]3 organization dedicated to achieving fuller employment for all Americans. It works to educate Americans about the full extent of today’s unemployment problem and new policies for solving it, starting with payroll tax shifting.
Payroll tax shifting can expand real employment in the U.S. dramatically, creating jobs at the scale Americans need: many tens of millions. By restoring job opportunity for all those who chose to work, Americans’ lives will be happier, healthier, and more secure, our economy will recover faster and continue to grow far more robustly than it did before the pandemic, and the staggering costs to government, businesses and families of mass dependency and social ills associated with mass joblessness will fall.
